IELTS

IELTS, the full name is the International English Language Testing System, managed by the Foreign Language Examination Department of the Cambridge University Examinations Committee, the British Council and the IDP Education Group. It is an English ability test for people who plan to study, work or settle in an English-speaking country. The IELTS test is divided into two categories: academic and general training, for students who are studying abroad and those who plan to work or immigrate in English-speaking countries respectively. The examination includes listening, speaking, reading and writing, with a total score of 9.

The IELTS test has been recognized by more than 9,000 educational institutions, employers or company, professional associations and government departments in 135 countries. IELTS has been the leader of English test for overseas study and immigration. More than 2 million candidates attend the IELTS test every year.

TOEFL

TOEFL is an English proficiency test conducted by the American Education Test Service (ETS), titled "Test the English Proficiency Test for Non-English Speakers", but the Chinese transliteration is "TOEFL".

TOEFL has three kinds of exams: PBT-paper based test 677, CBT-computer based test 300, and IBT-internet-based test 120. The new TOEFL score is 120 points in total. The TOEFL exam is valid for two years and is calculated from the date of the exam. For example: if students take the exam on January 18, 2003, the test results are valid from January 18, 2003, to January 18, 2005. The main review information of TOEFL is the TOEFL test machine, it also known as the private TOEFL answer keys.

The UK Home Office concluded its cooperation with the American Education Examinations Agency-ETS in early April 2014, and no longer recognized the results of its TOEFL and TOEIC English exams. Some of the Chinese students who are prepared to study in the UK have received a notice from the school that they are required to re-provide the English test results.

SAT

SAT (Scholastic Assessment Test) is hosted by the American College Board, which is an important reference for high school students from all over the world to apply for US university admission and scholarships. Both SAT and ACT (American college test) are known as the U.S college entrance exam. After the reform in 2016, the total scores of new SAT is 1600 points, includes reasoning test, grammar, and mathematics, while changes the writing to be an elective part of the exam. The SAT is just one of the reference materials to apply for a university, but not like the college entrance examination, to as a complete decisive factor. Its results are valid for 2 years only.

IELTS, TOEFL, SAT Preparation Program in the PIEG

We are promising:

Participation in the PIEG Guarantee Program, students will be guaranteed a 6.5 in IELTS, 90 in TOEFL and 2000 in SAT tests after they complete the learning as the teaching requirements. If students get a below score as above, the PIEG will return 50% training fee back. Students who participate in this program, are free to join in the summer/winter camp that organized by the PIEG. Any participants get a test result above 7 in IELTS, 100 in TOEFL and 2200 in SAT tests, they will receive a package of Apple product(￥10，000, includes apple mac, notebook, or the latest i-phone and i-watch etc...) as a graduation reward. We hope our students can bring our good wishes and encouragement to set foot on their new journey.

Guarantee-Grade plan: It will be a one-time charge of ￥51800, if a student follows the requirements to study but did not receive a guaranteed grade, we will return 50% of the payment back to this student.

Discount:

Students who enroll 4 stages classes at the beginning, will get a discount to pay ￥26900 only for all the courses. Students who enroll and 2 more stages courses, will get a 5% off.

Structure of the Curriculum

IELTS, TOEFL General Course: Two-year course program, which includes four stages of the course: preparatory, foundation, strengthening, and sprint; SAT general course: one year and a half of the learning term (from the first semester of grade 11 to the first semester of the grade 12), includes three stages of the course: foundation, strengthening, and sprint. Guarantee-grade plan: in the various subjects based on the implementation of the "guarantee-grade" strategy, to give students more attention in their study. If students meet the attendance rate at 90%, complete 80% of their assignments as well as meet other teaching goal requirements, the program will guarantee the students to have a 6.5 in IELTS, 90 in TOEFL or 2200 in SAT. Small classes supplementary courses: According to the student's learning situation, under the generous size class curriculum system, the training program will offer a 6 students class scale, 3 students class scale and 1 on 1 targeted teaching, to strengthening some students’ weakness and provide a customized training for these students. Winter and summer vacation courses: According to the level of students, divided into the foundation and strengthening classes for students to improve their vocabulary, grammar and great article appreciation of the course.

Since the international students' speaking and listening are great in general, we will strengthen the reading and writing training in the course so that they can be upgraded simultaneously in all aspects of listening, speaking, reading and writing. We work with school teachers to keep abreast of the contents of the school curriculum and to combine the training courses with the school curriculum. For example, our trainers will communicate with the Canadian teachers at least every two weeks to learn the content and status of the students in the school to facilitate the promotion of each other in teaching; explains the course with the Canadian curriculum content so that students will adopt all aspects of listening and speaking about oversee study in advance. We arranged assistant teachers with training experiences to assist the trainer to carry out the management of the class as well as to supervise and assist students to complete the school.
