- The custodian will meet the student every two months to learn about the student’s study and life; then, the custodian will communicate with parents.
- The custodian reports the student’s grades to the parents at the end of semester.
- The custodian supports the student dealing with emergencies, includes health, safety and other incidents. Our North America toll-free number is 24/7 hour, so we can help students with emergencies.
Note: students who above the age of majority still can purchase this service, if they want to have support from our service representatives to deal with problems. Our representatives can also help parents know about situations in Canada.
For the student who start new life in another country, the student needs to come over jet lag, adapt to diet, be familiar with local environment and ease homesickness, etc. In order to help the student build good relationships with local residents, our consultants will explain local customs, cultures and taboos, etc., which support the student adapting to local life more quickly.
Our consultants will give advice about accommodation selection based on the student’s qualification and needs:
1. Residence on campus: the student who has high language level and good adaptability, can choose to live on campus. This will help the student assimilate to university cultures and environments quickly and make new friends with local and international students. The residences are managed by university which are safe to live in; however, the fees are usually higher than live off-campus or in homestay.
2. Homestay: this option is suitable for the student who comes to Canada first time and does not own high language level and good adaptability. It is better for the student to learn local culture and try to communicate in English every day, which would avoid the student only stays with friends who are from the same country as him or her. Host family would like to help the student solve problems; at the same time, the student needs to adapt to the lifestyle in the homestay. The fees are usually in the middle level, compared to the others.
Our professional consultants provide payment instructions in detail for the student and parents, which covers paying deposits, tuitions, residence fees, etc. Parents will not feel difficult and confused about overseas remittance.
After helping the student move into the residence, our representatives will assist the student applying necessary documents, such as getting student ID, opening student bank account and activating student health insurance card.
Our staff in each service center provides detailed information of local environment and culture, mainly including:
- tourist spot introduction
- locations of shopping center and supermarkets
- recommendations of living goods
- information of hospitals, banks and other public services
- Information of driver license tests and plan.

If the student wants to change course plan, our consultants could help the student select courses based on course difficulty and timetable. If the student feels difficult to study and pass the course, our consultants will arrange professional tutors for the student. The student owns 20 hours for tutoring. Every two months, our consultants communicate with the student, assess the student’s studying progress and make student report. Our consultants will provide the student advice for the next period of study and reflect the student’s situation to the parents with PDF documents.
After the student begins his or her courses, our staff will concern about the student’s studying process and living conditions. Parents will receive student report every two months and every six months, so they could learn about student’s life in Canada more the comprehensively.
