河北师范大学附属中学“中加国际班”外籍教师风采
河北师范大学附属中学是石家庄市唯一教育部备案、石家庄市唯一省教厅批准的高中阶段中外合作办学单位。
中外合作办学的项目由中加双方共同管理，选派具有加方教师资格的教师和有经验的管理人员负责教育教学和学生管理工作。学校的各种设备、教学条件、管理等均符合中国教育部门及加拿大教育部门的各项标准。中加国际高级中学采用小班式教学，优秀教师任课，确保教学质量。以下为我校中加国际班2017至2018学年度外籍教师个人简介。
Darren MacQueen（达伦·麦奎因）
加拿大籍校长兼文科教师，拥有心理学学士和中学教育学士学位，现在我校中加国际班教授英语文学及戏剧课程。
“I am the principal of the Nova Scotia International Program at MSHNU and have been working at MSHNU since 2014. I grew up in a small town in Nova Scotia, Canada and studied at Cape Breton University. In addition to my principal duties, I also teach Drama. In my hometown, I have experience as a writer, director, and stage manager in a local play festival. I won Most Promising New Director for my first play, Green World. In my free time, I enjoy travelling and want to see as much of this new country as possible.”
“从2014年起，我就在河北师大附中中加国际班任教，目前任加方校长。我出生在加拿大新斯科舍省的一个小城镇，毕业于卡普顿大学。除此之外，我也担任戏剧课的教师。在我的家乡，我在当地的戏剧节上当过作家、导演和舞台监督。我的首部戏剧“绿野仙踪”为自己赢得了‘新晋最具前途导演’荣誉。在空闲时间，我喜欢旅行，我想尽可能多得欣赏和了解中国。”
David Harold Frederick Jellicoe（大卫·哈罗德·弗雷德里克·杰利科）
加拿大籍理科教师，拥有生物学、地理教育学和音乐学士学位，现在我校中加国际班教授数学课程。
My name is Dave Jellicoe. I am a teacher with many interests and disciplines. I am have taught all over the world and love the adventure that teaching in China provides. My specialty is information technology and its use in teaching. This year I am teaching Maths but look forward to contributing to the school in other innovative ways. I look forward to implementing more IT in the program to better prepare the students for study abroad. To that end, I write a blog on Educational Technology and read extensively in the field. Outside of class I am a professional singer with The Halifax Camerata Singers. For fun, I love to play with Lego robotics and currently coach a competitive team in Canada.
我是一位爱好广泛和经验丰富的教师。我曾在世界各地教书并且很享受在中国教学的经历。我的专长是信息技术及其在教学中的应用。今年我在教数学，但希望能以其他创新的方式为学校做出贡献。我希望在这个项目中更多地运用IT手段，以更好地为学生出国留学提供便利。为此，我还专门写了一篇关于教育技术的博客，并广泛阅读了相关领域的书籍。在课堂之外，我是一名专业歌手，并且是The Halifax Camerata Singers唱诗班的成员之一。闲暇之余，我喜欢玩乐高机器人，目前在加拿大执教一支颇具竞争力的机器人技术团队。
Abu Bakar（阿布·巴卡尔）
英国籍文科教师，拥有英语学士和硕士学位、教育学及社会研究学硕士学位及教育学博士学位，现在我校中加国际班教授英语课程。
I am a Sino Canadian English teacher at this school. I studied my undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in English, and a bachelor of education and PhD in education studies from a UK university. Having over 10 years of experience in different institutions in UK, I am now employing the best pedagogic principles to enrich my students' learning experiences.
我是河北师大附中中加国际班的一名英语教师。我在本科和研究生期间均主修英语并获得了教育学位，之后在英国的一所大学取得了教育学博士学位。由于在英国多家教育机构有超过10年的教育经验，我相信自己正在使用最好的教学原则来充实学生的学习经验。
Ivy Joy Obias Suralta
（艾薇·乔伊·奥拜·塞若尔塔）
菲律宾籍理科教师，拥有物理教育学学士学位，现在我校中加国际班教授数学、物理和化学课程。
I am, Ivy Joy Suralta-Depalubos, an NS certified teacher. I graduated with a degree of Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Physics. I had completed academic requirements for the Masters of Arts major in Math. Currently, I am teaching Math and Chemistry in Grade 11 and Physics in Grade 12.I have 14 years of experience teaching the courses. Teaching in Senior high gives me a sense of fulfillment as I impart my knowledge with the students.It calls for creativity, resourcefullness, and responsibility as these kids have diverse personalities. During my first year of teaching in this school and under this program, I developed a sense of awareness of different strategies on how to teach and handle the kids we have here. I can say in general, that learning is achieved when kids are motivated to learn and supported by their parents and the entire environment they are in. Kids grow well when they are nurtured well, too.
我是具有加拿大新斯科舍省教师资格的外籍教师。我拥有物理中等教育学士学位。我已经完成了数学硕士学位的学术要求。目前，我教授12年级的物理课以及11年级的数学和化学课。我有14年的课程教学经验。高中的教学给了我一种成就感，因为我把自己的知识传授给了学生。它要求创造力、智慧和责任感，因为这些孩子拥有互不相同的性格。在中加班教学的第一年里，我发展了自己一种区别对待和教育不同品质的学生的意识。我觉得，一般来说，学生只有在被激发出学习动机并且得到家人和整个环境的支持之后，才能达到学习的目的。学生的成长离不开用心的培养。
Jolene Wendy McIntyre
（茱莲妮·温迪·麦金太尔）
加拿大籍文科教师，拥有商学和教育学学士学位，现在我校中加国际班教授历史、经济课程。
I am from Nova Scotia, Canada. I graduated from Cape Breton University where I received my Bachelor of Business degree. I received my Bachelor of Education degree from Mount Saint Vincent University in Halifax, N.S. I am a social studies teacher. My EAL teaching experience includes jobs in South Korea and Taiwan. I’ve been teaching at this school since 2016.
我来自于加拿大新斯科舍省，毕业于卡普顿大学，并获得商学学士学位，而后我在新斯科舍省哈利法克斯市的圣文森山大学获得教育学学士学位。我是一名社会学教师，并有过在韩国和台湾的海外教学经验。我从2016年开始任教于这所学校。
